Bright Blue was formed in 1983, making their mark by performing every Sunday evening at the Carousel in Seapoint. Early on, the band transitioned from recording on cassette to releasing their first record, Bright Blue, featuring tracks such as Window on the World, Second Avenue, Who’s That Girl, and Who’s the Enemy.
In Johannesburg, they graced the stage at the Chelsea Underground, sharing it with iconic acts like e’Void, Via Afrika, and Elemental. Bright Blue’s momentum grew stronger with every performance.
